Project Cases

We can help in four easy steps:

  • A Solar-Powered Hiking Jacket

A client approached us with an innovative idea: a solar-powered outdoor hiking jacket. The design featured a 3-in-1 structure combining a softshell jacket with a detachable fleece vest. A solar panel was to be sewn onto the upper back, with a USB port integrated inside the chest pocket. The concept was simple yet powerful – during daytime camping, the solar panel would absorb sunlight and charge devices like phones via the USB port. Additionally, a Velcro-attached pocket was designed for the lower back to store small items.       The biggest challenge was not the garment itself, but the wiring layout. The solar panel was on the back, while the USB port was at the chest. The wiring needed to run through the jacket's interior – hidden, comfortable, safe, durable, water-resistant, and compatible with the removable fleece vest.   Our design team conducted extensive testing. We tried multiple routing options: through the shoulders, along the side seams, and inside the lining. Each option was tested against real-world movements like raising arms, bending over, and wearing a backpack. After careful evaluation, we settled on the optimal solution – routing the wires along the inner shoulder lining. This kept the wires hidden, allowed free movement, and did not interfere with the detachable vest. All connection points were also waterproof-sealed to withstand rain and washing.   Throughout the sampling process, we maintained close communication with the client, sharing every adjustment and keeping them fully informed of progress.   The final sample fully met the client's expectations: stable charging performance, comfortable fit, clean appearance. The client was highly satisfied and has since moved forward with bulk production.       Our Core Capability When your idea meets technical challenges, we turn concepts into production-ready reality. No matter how "different" your vision is, we are here to make it happen – from concept to mass production.

  • From Pantone Color to the Perfect Logo Placement

A client wanted to launch a new line of outdoor functional jackets, providing design reference images and Pantone color specifications, with a strong emphasis on brand logo visibility. Upon receiving the requirements, we organized the request list within one hour and cross-referenced it with our historical order database. We quickly identified a close match to a previous style,, reducing pattern development time from 5–7 days to just 1 day.   For the fabric stage, we simultaneously pushed the color specifications to five or more core suppliers and completed color swatch confirmation for the orange main body and black polar fleece lining within one week. The client did not need to source or compare factories on their own. For the sleeve Velcro, we proactively proposed using existing inventory of 9×11 cm high-quality Velcro, saving the client approximately $115 in mold fees and shortening procurement lead time by 3 days.   The most value-added move was the pocket relocation. Based on our deep understanding of end-user habits, we proactively recommended moving the pocket from the left to the right side. The vast majority of end-users prefer to embroider or heat-press their brand logo on the left chest – the original left-side pocket would have blocked the logo. This adjustment created dedicated space for brand visibility while preserving the right-side pocket for storage functionality.     Through proactive questioning, we also discovered that the client deeply valued the visual prominence of their company logo, confirming that this order served not only functional apparel production but also a brand showcase role. This insight prevented potential rework downstream.   Whether you have only simple design sketches or a complete tech pack, our team provides end-to-end consultative customization – from concept to mass production.

  • From Tech Pack to Mass Production

Recently, a client approached us with a complete technical package and detailed customization requirements, hoping to launch a brand new apparel collection. Upon receiving the technical package, our team immediately reviewed all design specifications and contacted the client to confirm key information, including fabric requirements, color choices, target quantities, and target market positioning. We shared detailed fabric specifications and performance information with the client for their evaluation. After careful comparison, the client ultimately selected the most suitable fabric for the collection.      With the fabric finalized, our technical team began a comprehensive product analysis. We meticulously reviewed every detail in the technical package and created a complete Bill of Materials (BOM). Once all fabric and accessory details were confirmed by the client, we provided them with an accurate mass production quote and began sample development. Throughout the sampling phase, we maintained close communication with the client to ensure they were always informed.   After the samples were completed, we sent them to the client for evaluation. The client reviewed the overall quality, fit, workmanship, functionality, and market suitability of the products. Following successful sample approval, the client confidently placed a mass order, and mass production officially commenced. Whether you only have simple design sketches or a comprehensive technical package, our experienced team will support your project from concept design to mass production.

  • From Hand Sketches to Samples

This project began with a U.S. client who provided only two hand-drawn sketches. There was no technical package, no construction details, and no fabric or fit specifications. Through structured communication and proactive design support, we successfully turned a vague concept into production-ready samples. Key Process: Establishing a Quick FoundationIn the initial communication stage, we determined that the project would require extensive design work to fill in the gaps, so we immediately aligned with our designer on the requirements. Structuring Unclear RequirementsAfter our designer took over, all pending details were quickly organized into a clear checklist sent to the client. The client responded point by point, creating an efficient and traceable communication loop. Recommending Fabrics to Accelerate DecisionsBased on the hand-drawn style and intended use, three fabric options were recommended. Videos and photos showing composition and application helped the client decide quickly—ultimately choosing to sample all three fabrics. Completing Design Drawings and Moving to SamplingOnce the design drawings were approved, the client paid for sampling of three pairs of pants immediately, moving the project smoothly into the physical production phase.     Key Takeaway:Even with minimal initial information—only a sketch—structured communication, proactive recommendations, and guided decision-making enabled a complete custom process from concept to multiple samples.

  • High-Difficulty Full-Print Jacket – Full Custom Service

This project involved the full customization of a high-difficulty all-over print jacket. From sampling to final delivery, the process lasted several months and overcame multiple technical challenges, ultimately delivering 194 high-quality units. Key Challenges & Solutions: Incomplete Technical PackageThe client provided limited technical information and communicated mainly with “Yes/No” answers. We proactively researched the client’s official website to understand their product style and completed the missing technical details independently.     Repeated Optimization of Print QualityAll-over printing required high precision. Initial tests focused on wash durability to prevent peeling. Due to pixelation issues, we adjusted the print 4–5 times. Eventually, we identified that the client’s original print file lacked clarity, and the client provided a higher-resolution version. High-Precision Print PlacementThe jacket required 13 precisely positioned print areas, demanding zero sewing deviation. We facilitated direct communication between the printing factory and pattern room to resolve alignment issues quickly. Sample Feedback & Proactive ImprovementsAfter receiving the first sample, the client raised concerns about pixelation, cuff design, and sleeve length. Although not requested, we produced an additional improved sample to mitigate risks. Process Upgrades & Detail SuggestionsThe client requested changing the hood lining color to black. We proactively suggested changing all inner linings to black and the heat-sealing tape accordingly, and recommended custom hang tags based on the brand’s tone—all were approved.     Major Process Hazard ResolutionAfter the fabric was laminated with black film, small holes appeared during high-temperature digital printing. Through three meetings with the fabric supplier, we identified that the black film could not withstand the heat. Although all fabric had already been laminated, we resolved the issue to avoid significant losses. Bulk DeliveryDespite challenges such as insufficient material preparation, missing accessories, and high defect rates during inspection, we finally delivered 194 qualified jackets. Client FeedbackThe client approved the final product and placed a bulk order directly without requesting a second sample.
