Does the "subtle sheen" look cheap or overly shiny?

No. It's a matte sheen—midway between cotton's flat finish and silk's high gloss, similar to premium performance fabrics. Natural and refined under normal lighting—not flashy. Perfectly appropriate for smart-casual settings.

How does the collar "not collapse"? Will it deform after washing?

The collar features a fused interlining and memory tape, combined with a flat-lay cut—it stays crisp even after repeated washing. Follow care instructions (below 40°C, no tumble dry) and the collar retains its original shape long-term.
